Statement:
I am an artist because I take a
critical view toward how the world looks. Through the process of
painting, I examine relationships between the object and the subject,
the ambiguous with the metaphorical, the “real” with the illusion. I
build my paintings through a series of actions and reactions that rely
heavily on the intuition. I use color as my primary device, and in
such a way as to excite the viewer’s eye; to make the heart beat
faster through the experience of looking. |
